My library is made up of classics and new releases, great literature and trashy romance, and quite a bit of magic and vampires. My complete collection of Harry Potter is sitting next to my Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, which is sitting my Jane Austens and Bronte books which are sitting next to the Twilight series.

Simply, I love to read. Ever since I can remember I've been completely captured by whatever story I'm reading to the point of not being aware of what's going on around me. I read mainly fiction...life is real enough and I read for the escapism. I tend to buy my books because I'm always in school (working on my PhD right now) so I save them for breaks between assignments and semesters. Other than reading, I love to travel. Thankfully, the two are very compatible :)
