Sobre mi biblioteca: The books included in my lists primarily cover the American Civil War/Reconstruction, slavery, African-American history, and the South.
Sobre mí: I teach American history at a small private school in Charlottesville, Virginia. My primary area of interest is the American Civil War and Southern history. I am active in research and have published numerous essays, book chapters, and book reviews in both scholarly journals and popular magazines. I recently completed a book-length manuscript on the battle of the Crater and Civil War memory.
