Author of five thrillers. The most recent is ECHOWAVE, a spy novel set in neutral Ireland during World War ll and featuring young intelligence officer Paul Duggan who also appears in ECHOLAND and ECHOBEAT. Also author of THE TRIGGER MAN, about an IRA sniper during the Irish 'Troubles', and OFF THE RECORD, a tale of journalists, politicians and a shady American miner in 1970s Dublin.
Non-fiction works include THE GUINNESSES, a history of Ireland most successful family and its most famous product, and THE BOSS (with Peter Murtagh), the classic account of a tumultuous year in the life of Ireland's most controversial modern politician, Charles Haughey.
