It's a work in progress. I'm trying to catalog all of my books on languages, dictionaries, glossaries, grammar, and so on. I have another account here for my non-language related books.

I am an English ↔ Spanish translator with more than 15 years of experience working in various fields of expertise, both for direct clients and for local and foreign translation agencies. I have also worked both in-house and as an independent contractor in the capacity of translator and editor for the U.S. Government as well as for major companies in the technology sector.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve always enjoyed the taste of words, some tastier than others. And I never realized other people could not feel this, until one day I learned that I have a condition (very rare, only ten in a million people have it) called synesthesia—specifically, lexical-gustatory. That is, I can literally taste words. It’s my superpower!
And this love of words, letters, books, languages, other cultures led me to become a translator. The profession chose me, I didn’t choose it. And here I am, trying to save the world while I carry out my mission of ridding it of one false cognate at a time, and devouring words in the process.
