Most of the books in my library were given to me by my beloved younger sister: who just happen to work in publishing (at supposedly the 2nd largest English language publisher in the world). Being halfway across the world (from the US) and in a place where the kind of books I like (anything English) are (relatively) expensive, my reading habits are completely dependent on what she can spare/scrounge up from work. It takes quite a while for them to get here though and I really miss the wonderful libraries and bookstores back in the States.

My favourite book of all time is Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" ("Persuasion" runs a close 2nd). However, I also seem to have a yen for "cyperpunk" stories: William Gibson's "Pattern Recognition" and "Idoru", and Neal Stephenson's "Snow Crash" being at the top of my list.
