Sobre mi biblioteca

I love to read fiction!

Favorite quotes...

“When I look back, I am so impressed again with the life-giving power of literature. If I were a young person today, trying to gain a sense of myself in the world, I would do that again by reading, just as I did when I was young.” — Maya Angelou

“That is the joy of reading fiction: when all is said and done, the novel belongs to the reader and his or her imagination.” —Alice Hoffman

“Come to the book as you would come to an unexplored land. Come without a map. Explore it and draw your own map.” – Stephen King

Sobre mí

I am a lifelong, voracious reader, and I continue to enjoy each discovery. As part of my favorite reading hours, I have enjoyed helping multiple authors as a beta reader and have been touched by acknowledgments and/or dedications.

Genres of choice: Mysteries, Historical Fiction, Suspense/Thrillers (e.g., Espionage, Legal, Psychological), Literary Fiction, Women's Fiction, and occasionally Contemporary Romance or Romantic Suspense.

My professional training and experience include working as a children's librarian (public schools in PA and TX), assistant director/children's librarian of a public library in a county seat (PA), an editor at The H.W. Wilson Company (NY), and as a legal secretary and paralegal in family law.

My husband and I rescued Holly, Maine Coon/Tabby, at 2 months old. At 5 years old, Holly is a paw-some delight with her inquisitive and playful nature, zoomies, watching her on bug patrol, and neighborhood supervision.

Interests: Reading, Reading, Reading, Flower Gardening, Reading, Reading, Travel, Reading. :)
