- The Fairmount Park Commission Historic Resource Archive is the chief repository for material relating to the development of the Fairmount Park system—a network of watersheds, neighborhood parks, historical sites, and green corridors in the city of Philadelphia. An indispensable tool for managing and preserving the Park’s built environment, the Archive is also utilized by other city departments, contractors, scholars, and the general public. By assisting in the Park’s larger mission to educate the public on the role humans play in affecting their landscapes, the Archive is closely tied to the Park’s public outreach mission.
