Sobre mi biblioteca
My library has outgrown it's space and is due for an update (something close to 300 books I am holding). There are just some books I can't bear to part with. Some I have read more than once.

Actually, I save every book I read until I am sure I will not read it again and then....
books that do not go into my library get traded on PaperBackSwap or given to friends. I love to share books.

I am a retired medical technologist and I live with one dog, one cat and one husband. I enjoy my gardens and nature, my home, some photography, some crafts. I enjoy playing poker, reading, old movies and travel and I have about twelve years invested in research of my family history. I am a native Texan with family in Texas since 1836.

As for what I like to read: Christian fiction, Christian reference, historical fiction and non-fiction concerning especially Revolutionary War era, Texas history, Virginia history.

I also like romances of historical couples: Napoleon and Josephine, Czar Nicholas,etc. and fictional historical romances and western novels (one of my most favorite series is the "Lonesome Dove" set: "Dead Man's Walk", "Comanche Moon", " Lonesome Dove" and "Streets of Laredo"). And, I am interested in non-fiction reading concerning the Southeast American Indians before the Trail of Tears. Read everything but interests lie in history (of the Bible, Texas, Europe, America, etc.) and in Christian fiction, some biographies, westerns, historical romance.

That's just what I like to read but the truth is, I read everything I get my hands on.

Reading for me is a magic carpet. It expands my imagination, teaches me, brightens my day, lets me escape and sometimes puts me to sleep and I am most thankful for this blessing.

I am a mother blessed with 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I belong to God and my husband of 50+ years.

I enjoy my gardens and nature, my home, some photography, some crafts.
