Connie Gotsch’s newest book, Belle’s Star features a dog, and is designed to help people aged 8 to 12 deal with abuse.
Her adult main stream novel A MOUTH FULL OF SHELL won First Place for full-length fiction in the New Mexico Press Women’s Communication Contest, and Second Place in the National Federation of Press Women competition. The story centers on a professional woman coping with sexual harrassment.
Gotsch’s adult suspense thriller, SNAP ME A FUTURE won Second Place for Full-Length Fiction from NMPW, and encourages respect for the Southwest’s archaeological sites.
As Program Director for Public Radio Station KSJE FM, Farmington, New Mexico, Gotsch hosts the author show WRITE ON FOUR CORNERS, and the classical music/interview show ROVING WITH THE ARTS. Public radio stations across New Mexico carry her arts interviews.
In 2007, New Mexico Press Women named her their Communicator of Achievement.
Se has a doctorate in education from Northern Illinois University.
