Just starting to place it on line. This is fun. But now there are books all over the floor!

I had to give up many books in recent years, but the remaining ones are at the core of my psyche. They revolve around ethics and values, fantasy, classics, animals, and the work ethic.

Sobre mí

A life in many directions. Deep love of books and ideas. Deep deeep love of nature and animals. I am recovering from 5 years of caring for an Alz mother, who is currently in a nursing home. But some special things came of those years: I developed a goofy sense of humor, and marveled at how our cats created their own schedule for spending quality time with Mom. She was never alone. And I published my book during this time.

Finally, I'm able to read again. Hopefully writing will come next. I loved writing my doctorate, and then a book. Being here is good; and part of the simple joy of being around others who love books. Here, no one will ever say "how come you have so many books?!"
