I am a midwife and wrote the book 'Born for Life : A Midwife's Story' about my journey to become a midwife. My journey includes many challenges along the way, including the death of my second baby at birth. By reading my story I hope it will give people the inspiration to follow their dreams as I did.
I have a lovely husband, Barry, three adult children and seven grand children.
I continue to work as a midwife and like doing volunteer work in other countries as the opportunities arise. Midwifery continues to be my passion and love.
