Series: Vampire Queen (1)
YA fiction just out. What if you didn't want to live forever, even if you currently were? Infinite Days (out 8/3/10) discusses this in great detail in a superb story for Young Adults. Lenah Beaudonte, currently age 16; has been 16 for over 300 years. She was going to take "The Walk" soon as she had been there, done it all and saw no reason to go on. Walking into the sun would take care of here quite nicely. Rebecca Maizel has written an excellent novel for Young Adults (and old folks as well). She explores past lives, present loves and the choices folks make to "fit in". In Lenah she takes a vicious vampire queen and comepletely redoes her existence. No more bloodthirsty games, no more coven, just a 16 year old trying to fit in

June 2010 Lote

Sorteo terminado: Junio 25 a las 06:00 pm EDT

Series: Vampire Queen (1)
Lenah Beaudonte is, in many ways, your average teen: the new girl at Wickham Boarding School, she struggles to fit in enough to survive and stand out enough to catch the eye of the golden-boy lacrosse captain. But Lenah also just happens to be a recovering five-hundred-year-old vampire queen. After centuries of terrorizing Europe, Lenah is able to realize the dream all vampires have -- to be human again. After performing a dangerous ritual to restore her humanity, Lenah entered a century-long hibernation, leaving behind the wicked coven she ruled over and the eternal love who has helped grant her deep-seated wish.
