Well, it was free! But it turns out it was more a short story to introduce a new writer, a new series, and many of the characters which will populate future titles in the series.

And actually, the book wasn't bad. I would classify it as a straight middle-school appropriate book except that it dealt with physical and emotional abuse, and with violent death (though in this day and age, someone killed by a gun with no blood-spatter or other gore hardly qualifies as"violent").

In any case, I might read one more just to see how she matures as a fiction writer.… (más)
