I have many thoughts on this book...They are mixed. Definitely. The poems in general are amazing, they speak the truth, they talk about simple things in life but also the hard truth of life, the ups and downs. Some poems gave me the chills and some brought tears to my eyes. Truly is amazing.

Now the other side of it is...It was not proof read. The mistakes that come back a lot are "they're/their", "you're/your", there were some missing comas, too. And sometimes, there will be a word put in plural and singular in the same sentence. Misplacing the "s" ex: "rains bring" it was such a dread for me to read it," rain brings" please...and this is also in this poem that "rain" was at the beginning of the sentence in plural and then at the end, in singular.
There are some typos on a word you'll find twice, ex: "pored" instead of poured, and towards the end of the poem "pour" will be written correctly.

The repetition is a bit way too much, too. I like repetition in a poem, but not on every sentences, it's so heavy to read, and a bit...killing, it kills the poem. You can put repetition, but with 3 to 4 sentences in between and with using some different word, just one synonym and it will make the poem lighter.

It's a great book but that needs a lot of revision...… (más)
