This is designed as a study-at-home course. Although it says it will take you from beginning embroidery through advanced, I think if you've done no embroidery at all, you'll find this book entirely over-whelming. However, if you are ready to start doing your own design for embroidery there are excellent exercises to help you (though many of them will take extensive amounts of time, so you better be pretty serious about learning.
