This appeared to be such a Kasie West style of book so of course I was interested in reading it. I am sad to say that my interest died fairly quickly as it became apparent to me that Mackenzie's identity was in her illness. I felt that she was portrayed as 'diabetes' as opposed to 'someone who battles diabetes'. I think that there were good intentions, however, it was brought up on almost every single page of the 105 pages that I read.

I didn't feel like there was any real chemistry between the two characters besides sexual tension. The relationship seemed sort of rush and unrealistic, I just did not feel any certain connection to story, content nor characters. It was a letdown because I was really looking forward to the story. There's nothing to brag about about this mediocre story.
