Shelby Westland

I really enjoyed this book - a nice mix of history, fiction, fantasy, and romance. Intertwining historical facts with mythology and fiction to provide the reason for how these characters came to be was a pleasant surprise. Sorry for being vague but I don't want to give anything away! My only wish was that the heroine's past was explored more fully because I love strong female characters (which this one is) and I felt the male protagonist/hero's past dominated the storyline.
