Lots of good practical stuff in this book, but two big downsides for me.

1: it assumes you have to fight for a homebirth, and gives you lots of tools for that - that's great, but my area is very supportive of home births so my experience hasn't been that it's been a battle in the same way. For me therefore those parts were a bit of a waste and a bit too negative (though I appreciate that for others they could be really useful).
2: oh the homeopathy. Just, no. Especially when she is offering homeopathic and other woo options for treating the very serious subject of post-partum haemorrage...… (más)
