I recieved a complementary copy of this book through the authors newsletter. I was not asked to provide an honest review. This book was sort of a cross between Harris and Davidson, as the lead is a cupcake baker, who wants a vampire. Classic story telling, and an easy book to fall into. I read it one sitting.

I wish I can say I loved this book but for me it was just ok. I think it's because I've gotten out of sync with paranormal novels these days. I absolutely enjoyed the story! It was unique in its own ways and the (some) of the characters were great. I did think a few characters were there for no reason at all
We are given small snip buts about Claire and it was obvious that the author was going to reveal more in later books. It was a little frustrating to know nothing about her and Will since we're supposedly reading a love story but we can feel a lot of the love since we don't know them.
Overall it does seem a like it would be a good series, just some minor errors here and there. I did want it to be fleshed out more? It was very rushed and characters and events happened too quickly for me.… (más)
