If you're a fan of Gus Van Sant (Good Will Hunting, Milk, Elephant, etc...) then you would definitely enjoy reading this book. It's a pretty in-depth look at the recurring themes of Van Sant's projects, interpretations of his work, and the flimmaker's influences. This book, though not a simple read, was very entertaining. He also draws a comparison to other other writers (I give author Justin Vicari an extra half a star for discussing one of my favorite writers William Burroughs).

Overall this was a fabulous book, and I completely recommend it if you're a Gus Van Sant fan, or if you're interested in LGBTQ filmmaking.… (más)
