As someone who attended a dry campus during my undergrad years, and now lives within close vicinity of one of the largest public universities in the US, I have long been curious-but-not-in-a-participatory-way about the appeal of excessive alcohol consumption amongst collegiates. Although I still don’t personally understand the appeal, this book provides insight into some of the social pressures and norms which encourage the alcoholism which we can see on campuses. Plenty of primary and secondary research for those who wish to further pursue the subject.… (más)
