An odd book in that it had a wide array of central characters, Saman only being slightly more central, and a variety of reporting styles from fantasy fiction, to e-mails, and dealt with a number of issues from adultery to corporate bullies. Despite it all, I identified with the characters and enjoyed the book.

Het verhaal begint wel aardig, maar halverwege het boek begint het vervelend te worden. Pas tegen het einde van het boek begint duidelijk te worden dat het een protest is tegen de aantasting van de natuur. Het verhaal is niet erg consistent en kon mij maar matig boeien.

Novel yang cukup berani (baca: sex) yang ditulis dengan gaya bahasa yang tidak kampungan. Great job!
