Okay, so now I know a little more about each of the characters, and this book is packed with action and suspense. And right from the beginning. Actually, it's rather tense. A little over tense, but not in a bad way.

In this book, the two girls have split apart, and while one desperately wants to get with her friend, the other colder friend holds that rather low on her long priority list. Part of that is that she can't because she's on someone else's piss list, but another part of that is self-loathing I figure. Either way, we get to see new sides of these characters, and there's a lot of action. I just wish there was a little more romance, fingers crossed.… (más)

Right from the beginning, the hook catches. What the heck are two girls doing up after dark in their bathing suits on a cliff? Then what happens next, well, I fell out of my seat, my heart racing. And that was just the beginning.

Something I feel that's dying in the real world is "true" friendships, even the messed up kind, and this book reminded me of such a thing I had a long time ago. There isn't a moment in this book where the characters aren't doing something constructive, and by the end, this book had a special place in my heart and on my reader.

One note, and not to bias, I do feel that one of the characters is a little too harsh and rather cold, while the other is a bit doofy and "too" fun, but in the end, I guess it all mellows out.
