Invader Zim, Volume 2 is more of the same story telling fans expect from this series based on Jhonen Vasquez's Nickelodeon television show. While the art in the first story isn't as good as that in Volume 1, the rest is good. The third story even includes a fun reference to Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978, dir. Philip Kaufman). Writers K.C. Green, Kyle Starks, Eric Trueheart, and Dennis & Jessie Hopeless perfectly capture the tone of the television series while still offering something new that will entertain the fans. Aaron Alexovich and Dave Crosland's art likewise preserves the tone of the series. Fans are bound to find this second volume from Oni Press a worthy continuation and proof of Invader Zim's lasting impact.… (más)
