This book is an accurrate chronicle of part of the life history of a Golden eagle family in the Texas panhandle. Only one other source; Jeff Watson's "The Golden Eagle" provides as much detail on the habits and life style of Golden Eagles. Watson's work was mainly European and Asian eagles while True's work focused on North American Golden Eagles. True also provides a good feel for how the birds coexist with humans in Texas.
