Wake of War: A Novel por Zac Topping
A futuristic novel about a United States embroiled in a civil war. This could envision a future maga revolt against our federal government. Mr Topping does not speak of politics at all. He focuses on people - a man (Trent) fighting for the government and a woman (Sam) who is a sniper for the rebels. We become vested in their successes and failures. Ultimately, there is a little too much battlefield stuff at the expense of more fleshed out characters.
2 stars, both sides believe they're right

In a dystopian future, there's the US Military on one side and the Revolutionary Front on the other side, with the RF trying to take over major cities. It's basically a story about one side shooting at the other side with snipers.
The blurb seemed appealing, but the book was not for me. It may appeal to you.
I would have given it one star, except that a name in the book is similar to one of my family members, so gave it a 2-star marking. That family member may purchase solely for that reason.
