Well, it was going to happen sooner or later—Dadaism meets Africa. This exhibition catalog narrates the influence of African sculpture on the art movement Dadaism. Many of the Dadaist artists collected African art and were intrigued by non-Western art and the exoticism of ‘primitive peoples.’

A German-language edition is also published: Dada Afrika: Dialog mit dem Fremden.
