This has instantly become one of my favourite Christian fiction books!

There is so much that I love about it! The church and all the characters are so good: kind, loving, well-meaning but flawed, and – most importantly – willing to admit their flaws and grow from them. The relationships are supportive and fun, the romance make me smile, and the faith aspect never feels preachy or forced. It’s also one of the few books I’ve read that isn’t afraid to talk about sex from a Christian perspective, and I think it handled the topic really well!

Overall, I think this book gracefully depicts what the modern day church is and what it should be, what it looks like to love unconditionally and without judgment, and how God uses His church to mend broken relationships and reach out the lost and hurting. I highly recommend it!… (más)

The second book in the Front Row series by Melanie Tillman​ tells the story of Kate and Josiah’s childhood-friends-to-lovers romance and also addresses the lasting trauma of sexual assault.

I loved this book for all the same reasons I loved the first one: the characters are real, believable, and relatable; the serious issues are handled well; the Christian faith is incorporated in a way that is not preachy but still has a strong presence; and the romance makes me melt!

(And I cannot get over how gosh darn pretty that cover is, it’s absolutely gorgeous!!)… (más)
