Excellent read from a general who was in battle in WWII, then commanded in Korea, was familiar berlin, the aftermath of the bay of pigs, involved in the cuban missile crisis and then vietnam. He has seen and been involved in high level government strategy and policy for quite a period of time. Some may not have agreed with him but its definitely worth reading his views. I thought his assessment of the press during vietnam could be used word for word with that of coverage of the aftermath of the 2nd Iraq war.½
