Biografía breve
Journalist, investigative writer, editor, publisher and book author, Mark A. Taylor, is the Executive Editor and Publisher of Juniper Press. Taylor’s investigative journalism has been published in some of America’s largest circulated periodicals. In 1988, his undercover investigation of Jimmy Swaggart’s Assemblies of God Church in Baton Rouge, La. was attributed with bringing the false man of God down. He is the past Editor-in-Chief of Salt Lake Magazine, New West Magazine, a regional monthly, and NEO Magazine, an art and literary periodical. He also served as Senior Editor and Senior Writer of the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic Bid Books.
Taylor is the author of four books: Chaco: A Tale of Ancient Lives, a novel about the disappearance of the Anasazi Indians from the four-corners region (1994 Sunstone Books, Santa Fe, New Mexico); Sandstone Sunsets, a critically acclaimed nonfiction journey to self enlightenment (1997 Gibbs Smith Books); Wild and Beautiful, a collection of naturalist essays about the Grand Staircase Canyons of the Escalante National Monument (1998 Gibbs Smith Books); and Patriots: The Redrock Land War, a novel about misguided patriotism, violent confrontation, political conspiracy, and sacred Native American beliefs (2005 Oxide Books).
