The book isn't terrible, but it surely could have benefitted with a makeover to make it look polished. Mind you, this book is aimed at kids, and so the stories can seem a bit silly, and at times, maybe even over-the-top.

I think I found the stock photos revealed (and sometimes repeated) to distract from the story. I believe that children books hugely benefit with quality artwork, and plenty of authors either commission the task to professional artists, or have a knack for drawing and illustrate their own books. I believe that if this book had been worked around more and given more polished writing intertwined with quality artwork in sufficient amounts, it would have been a lot more enjoyable to read.

I am not certain the reason why this book has been removed from Amazon, I am suspecting either it infringed on a photo copyright or the author purposely took it down due to quality issues. At any rate, it was an ok 5 minute read, but still quite forgettable.

I was thoroughly dissappointed in this book. It was labeled a kids book, but it's hard to gauge for which age group this was intended for, since some of the words were too long & difficult for little kids, and the story too simplistic for those with enough grasp of the language. Also, the plotline is too erratic.
Jack's pictures are cute as illustrations, but his behaviour in the stories was rather inconsistent, sometimes more antropomorphic than other moments.

Adventures of Jack: The Agent With a Bone to Pick (Adventure Childrens Books) Short Stories Collections and bedtime story books for kids by ... (Jack Russell Adventure Series (Volume 1))
Illustrated colorful children's book about Jack, a Jack Russel dog and he's left in charge of the house. To guard it while Mummy goes to the store to get a few things.
He is very bored and starts checking out some things to occupy his time. He ends up in mischief, nothing good can happen...
Other stories of Jack and his adventures are good stories as well. One is how he saves the day by following clues til the mystery is solved.

This book was filled with real short stories that had morals or lessons at the end of each one. It starts off with a story of three brothers. Ned is the oldest and works hard. Ted and Zed are lazy and play all day. One day Ned decides to go out into the world to seek his fortune so that he can bring it back and share it with his brothers. Ted decides to do this as he has never been a help. He finds an old woman and asks her for shelter. She gives him a task to do and he decides it is impossible so he goes home. Ned goes out and meets the same old lady. He is given the same task as the other brother. Ned sets to work to fulfill the task. This story teaches we must use our hands if we want to reach our dreams and goals, we can’t sit around and wait for things to happen. A second story tells of a man who has great riches. He hears some robbers in his garden and tells his wife to listen to him and to answer yes to what he says. Speaking loudly he tells his wife that it was a good thing that he hid all of their riches at the bottom of the well where no one would be able to get to them. The robbers empty the well trying to get to the riches. In the process they have watered the crops of the owner and find themselves arrested. The moral of the story is not to believe everything you hear. The rest of the book is filled with similar stories. It was very enjoyable.

Children's Book: "Flying Elephants and Other Stories" (Adventure Kids Books) Short Stories Collections and bedtime story books for kids by all ages, folklore ... Stories for Children Series (Volume 5))
Illustrated very colorful children's book. There are six different stories with written morals at the end of each one. Lots of animals and Gods creations.
Especially liked the six blind men as I am blind myself. Moral to this story is respect others views (they were all right in their own way). So many of these can be used in daily examples.
Other books by the author are highlighted at the end.

Children's Book: "Stars in the Pool and Other Stories" (Kids Books Ages 5-10) Short Stories Collections and bedtime story books for kids by all ages, folklore ... Stories for Children Series (Volume 1))
Children's book about different topcics that we can put into everyday life. Each comes with a moral to follow and anybody at any age can do these, don't believe everything you hear.
Be sure of the facts before jumping to conclusions, bad habits can always be changed and my favorite:
Nothing can replace hard work. Most problems can be solved by thinking in new ways.
Such words of wisdom.
