In which are presented a choice of photographs of the Arbor Day State from its pioneer days through, supposedly, the 1970's, though it must be said that both the quantity and quality of the photos tail off considerably soon after WWII. Other than the weak final chapter, the pictures are well-chosen and usually well-captioned, though a bit more detail could have been appropriate at times. The book's only big shortcoming is it's wimpy light typeface; I don't have the best eyesight, it's true, but I'm usually not the worst in the room and these could be bloody difficult to read.… (más)
