I am a mother of an 18 month old boy and have come across many different parenting books - some borrowed and one or two second hand ones. This book provided a somewhat different read. It is scientific in its approach, trying to dispel myths about parenting and offspring. The experts have a range of knowledge and experience and offer a balanced opinion on a range of topics from sleeping and feeding, to disciplining and television. The are parts relevant for parents of very young children and babies through to older children. An interesting read.
