D.C. Stone

This is very emotional book, very intense, there were some very difficult subjects dealt with in the story, child prostitution, human trafficking and forced drug addiction. Not everyone's choice of reading. But this was a very well written story.

Brooke and Dwayne have been friends since kindergarten. Dwayne has watched Brooke fall in love with someone else and marry have his child then let her cry on his shoulder when they separated and finally divorced. He's always wanted more from their relation but he's held back and stayed in the friends zone. But when her daughter disappears he has to step forward to help as a friend and also as the police Detective he is.

Very entertaining, and a great page turner.… (más)
