Review: I have to say I did like L.L. Stolmeier/Helland’s other book “The Hellandback Kids” better but this story was really good as well! The book was eerie and kept you turning the pages to find out exactly what was going on in the Asylum on Redwine Hill. The story is about a mysterious illness that causes all teenagers to go insane on or around their 16th birthday and poor Charlotte Carrion gets tossed into one of the worst asylums around. From having to eat meat that could come from almost any imaginable source to falling in love with the only guy that could ever likely understand her, the story leaves your holding your breath and waiting for the next surprise.
I really liked this story a lot and I do hope to get my hands on more of L.L. Stolmeier/Helland novels. This writer has a lot of promise and her books are amazing. Sign me up for the fan club!… (más)
