Dracula in Dior is a highly amusing fashion guidebook mainly aimed at vampires and vampires-to-be, but also very useful to other undead, such as zombies.

The book lists important topics in alphabetical order, giving guidance in many themes crucial to a vampire’s survival in the modern world where dear old Count Dracula’s clothing style is so hopelessly passé.

The reader is directly spoken to and familiar names and trends keep popping up throughout the book, all of this with a mischievous little gleam shining between the lines. I chuckled several times while reading and all in all found this quite an entertaining little book.… (más)

What a romp! I could see this as an off-Broadway one-person show (with maybe a cross-dressing vampire?). I loved it! It is fashion for the vampire told very tongue-in-cheek. I laughed out loud as I read it. This fashionable vampire was talking straight to me. Just a delightful read to be enjoyed.

I guess from reading the reviews I am the exception. I expected more of a story format and found it unengaging. I hopped from spot to spot trying to find something to hook me but was not successful. Do not expect something like a vampire version of "The Devil Wears Prada" because it is nothing like that or "Sex and the City" with a vamp twist. It is broken up in alphabetic sections like a how-to book.

Sorry - I really wanted to enjoy it but it wasn't my cup of tea.

This book was quite surprising, it was fun and full of whimsical little quips that had me giggling to myself. It is a very tongue in cheek type of book that is a nice quick light read.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get away for a bit with a silly read.
