Fascinating information but read it with an eye that some of it is dated. While much of this is still pervasive in today's society, this book needs to talk more about how to equip oneself (and especially minors) against some of what can happen -protecting oneself from identity theft is well covered but again potentially dated. Best part is the information about the 2008 National High School Policy debate topic. More of an informative source for information, the issue of internet safety needs more exploration regarding how to best empower minors to protect themselves from these issues, and how to best facilitate this type of behavior in minors. With increased use of 2.0 and social networking in many forms, there is an even greater need to reach beyond the scariness of the Internet to the reality that it is providing much information to many people. Discussion of web filtering and forensic data helps, but ramifications about them and today's information needs must converge more in books like this.
