Most likely, this would not be the first choice for those new to the art of cake decorating. Few images--though the ones that are included are very clear and beautiful--make for a somewhat difficult visualization. Creativity is rather limited, the focus being more on the technical aspects. Instructions are mostly accessible, but a little complex for the very beginning decorator. Not bad, as long as the reader has some basic experience at the least.
