Coarse fiber used throughout to make projects as diverse as a hammock, coin purse, Christmas tree, deck chair, whale candy box, lampshades, and placemats. The requisite macrame wall hangings are also included. Many of these 1970's era designs have not dated and will look fresh today and tomorrow. Not included are any historic references; in particular, nothing is said about Victorian macrame or Victorian macrame tools.
