Was a great book to read loved how the whole trilogy came in a all in one
3.5 stars.
Story-wise, this was fun. It follows Lorena, not quite a woman, but also not a little girl, whose mother ditched her with a controlling father who dragged her from city to city, never staying in one place long enough to get confortable or make a real friend, is now the subject of a prophecy. Her mother potentially wants to killer her to stop her from fulfilling said prophecy.
The writing was first person, which, ugh! There was a lot of repetitive sentences and themes, which was a bit annoying. But it was still interesting enough that it kept me reading, and wondering what would happen next. I was thinking of not continuing the series, but the ending was just shocking enough to make me want to read at least the next book in the series.… (más)

Couldn't put it down.
Cliche, I know but it is true. I read until my eyes blurred and kept reading.
I love Lorena. She's saucy. I agree with Wei; I like women who speak their mind.

I can't stand a Fickle protagonist
I absolutely loved this series and thought it was going to be an epic love story but it turns out that Lorena is fickle and can't make up her own mind.
I think this must be one of those reverse harem books that I avoid. It's too bad because it could have been a good romance.
I won't read another in this series.
