An incredible book about the life of HMCS Bonaventure which touches on the history of Canadian naval aviation. The book is subdivided by commanding officers which gives not only a good chronological breakdown but also the different personalities the ship possessed during each officer’s tenure aboard. Along with the aircraft carrier’s history comes the story of the aircraft flown from Bonnie’s decks during the time of her service. The many antidotes containing within the volume are historically significant as well as humorous at times. Well written, incredibly informative and an absolute gem! Made even more so by the owner of the book store I purchased it at being mentioned in the book.… (más)
