So this film was designed as a vehicle to show off Cindy Crawford's acting skills, not to mention her beautiful body. The latter is certainly on view, with an early move to dress her in business clothes as a lawyer soon being discarded, but her acting is mediocre at best - even in a very undemanding script in which the basic storyline after ten minutes is that people chase around trying to kill her (unnecessarily so far as I can see) while a cop plays protector among increasing mayhem and death. The plot has more holes than a colander, and the ex-KGB hit crew are amazingly inefficient except for the crazed-looking computer expert. Towards the end, I was reminded of the standard James Bond story as the heroine is locked up on a big boat, the intrepid rescuer reaches her as the villain feels an inexplicable need to justify himself while his henchmen do strange things with buttons, and it all ends in a big explosion as the couple sail away into the sunset in a small boat, kissing passionately. Only this is no Bond film.… (más)
