I dare say without a doubt, at just 54 pages, this novella cranks quite a punch in a very short amount of time. Lest to say, this novella is both coming of age and dark fantasy. This story reads more like a prequel. Despite feeling like an appetizer, it delivers a great story that will keep the reader hungry for more. I really hope the author considers writing a series and expands this world further. I am invested already.
