V. B Shavrov

A History of Aircraft Design in the USSR for the period before 1938. This is the classic history book written by the Russian aircraft designer Vadim D. Shavrov (1898-1976). It is a model of completeness and is illustrated with numerous pictures and drawings. Unfortunately the pictures are printed in bad Soviet quality, but in other more recent books the same pictures emerge in all their detailed glory. Even the Soviet time has not got a chance to damage these.
