I liked the dogs parts. The sex scenes not so much. So... long...

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Awww. This book was sticky sweet. I like books that have sweetness, so this was a big positive for me. David and Mike were best friends and together when younger, but an over bearing father forced them apart. 10 years later, they see each other again when Mike brings his new puppy to the vet, who happens to be David. Their chemistry and feelings for each other have not decreased over the years, and they find themselves wanting to rekindle their relationship. They fall back into an easy routine, until David's father finds out they are together and forces them apart again. Luckily the angst level is relatively low, and the subsequent soul searching is just what is needed for the guys to find their happily ever after. I enjoyed this book.

Truly enjoyable story.

A lovely romance with added puppies, I mean, c'mon, how can get better than that?

In al seriousness, this is a great story. We got this two very relatable characters, with their own struggles, trying hard to work them, and get their HEA. Enzo and Finn are full-fledged characters, and I particularly enjoyed Enzo's and Sheba's talks. Those who own a dog know that that is a very helpful thing to do to work trough some confusing situations.

In short, a very well written, delightful story. You won't regret picking this one.

Romantic, sweet and full of fun moments, this is also a steamy love story. And my favourite trope, to boot!
I quickly fell in love with both characters, for different reasons, as they have really different personalities.I like Jess' hopeless romanticism, his idealism, and Asher's sincere attempts to tame his arrogance and crankiness.
The only complain I have is that its pace felt a little rushed. I'd have enjoyed a little more of clueless fumbling and tension between the characters, but that is just me, probably.
A really enjoyable reading.
