Enlisting in the Army in 1969, Robert Scholten was sent to Vietnam in 1970. There he became a gunner on a Duster attached to the 173suprd/sup Airborne Infantry. He was discharged in 1972 and went on to earn a bachelor of arts and a master's of divinity. Robert and his wife, Cheryl, and their mostrar más daughters, Lisa and Hannah, live in Annville, Kentucky.
