Being an interesting enough treatment of a topic which is far too specialized to be of much interest beyond the hard-core devotee of the '90's in baseball and perhaps local historians in the cities involved. The author depends, understandably, mostly on local newspapers of the day, basically the only available source. He makes good use of their colorful descriptive prose.
