Trügerische Sicherheit: Wie die Terrorangst uns in… por Peter Schaar
Da ich mich recht viel mit der im Buch beschriebenen Thematik befasse, war für mich nicht viel neues dabei, es taugt aber vermutlich als Einstieg in das Thema ganz gut, daher 4 Sterne. Der fehlende Stern kommt daher, dass das Buch sich an manchen Stellen ein wenig wiederholt und teilweise Verweise merkwürdig gesetzt werden - hier hatte ich das Gefühl, dass das letzte bisschen Feinschliff fehlte. Trotzdem empfehlenswert als Einstieg in das Thema.
Started yesterday and am still in the beginning of the revelations. But it is a good overview even though (to me) all facts are already known.
For German reading people, it is an interesting view in the surveillance of Germany and how to deal with it.
The people of Germany should be outraged, but instead the reaction so far is weak, the word for this group of people I like most is sheeples (first read on Slashdot), a combination of people and sheep. In the past the right for privacy was held high, so far nobody is fighting against the surveillance, this book might show methods to deal with it. But a change should also be made how we deal with our own organizations, MAD, BND, Verfassungschutz and others.
The author is clear and outspoken even with non-popular decisions and facts. The overview and structure of the presentation in the book is very easy to read, it remains to be seen if this is true even for non-technical persons.
