Filling in the cracks - more Boba back story.

One of the challenges of what I call "franchise fiction" is working within the constraints of known events while creating interesting an surprising stories. Taylor does this well - giving us Jango and Boba at the beginning, followed by a story of adult Boba, dealing with the consequences of his father's life. Does a nice job of extending the Star Wars stories - no Jedis required, either!.

The artwork in this is amazing. Each panel looks like a painting. It's as if you can see the individual brush strokes. There is a lot of detail in the art, but there is also a softness and great lighting so that you aren't overwhelmed by it.

The story is very good as well. I am not a Boba Fett fanboy and think he is somewhat overrated, but this is one of my favorites for this character so far. It also manages to tie together his EU backstory with the Prequel Trilogy and his EU future.
