Interesting contemporary compilation of details regarding airplanes of the USAAF. You have to take some of this with a grain of salt, since some planes that never saw the light of day (like the B-19) are included, a number of obsolete planes are included, and details regarding current planes can be a bit vague (for obvious reasons). It's also not very helpful as a recognition guide, as such, since you have to flip through a lot of things. The index, though, is quite admirable, in that you can search by manufacturer, nickname, or official number. Osprey stuff better for this, but still quite interesting.… (más)
